Therefore, it is studied the way in which this University is organized, particularly the regulation of the figure of the Teacher-Tutor, a specific teacher of this University, key to ensure this teaching model. Historical problems derived from the regulation of this figure increases after Spain entrance to the European Space for Higher Education, as this process revalues the tutorial function even more. Certain conclusions can be drawn from the possible partial and general solutions to the problem. Received: 08.02.2023Accepted:13.06.2023La educación semipresencial, que desde un primer momento oferta la UNED, procura contribuir a hacer efectivo, en toda España, al menos parcialmente, el derecho a la enseñanza superior universitaria; de la mejor o peor regulación de esta forma de transmisión del conocimiento dependerá, en buena lógica, la realización efectiva de tal derecho. Se estudia así la forma de organización de esta Universidad, particularmente la regulación de la figura del Profesor Tutor, docente específico de esta Universidad, clave para asegurar este modelo de enseñanza. Los problemas que derivan históricamente de la regulación de esta figura se acrecientan con motivo de la adhesión de España al Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior, pues este proceso revaloriza aun más la función tutorial. De las posibles soluciones al problema, parciales, y generales, cabe extraer ciertas conclusiones.
