This article focuses mainly on this theme, addressing the admissibility of stay of proceedings � just regarding one of several co-debtors �, the brand new legal regime of the agreement to pay the enforceable debt in installments - as well as the groundbreaking figure of the global agreement - and, finally, the legal consequences of the conversion of the garnishment in the insolvency proceedings.A recente Reforma do Processo Civil Português � especialmente no que concerne à Reforma do Processo Executivo � tornou premente a análise de certas soluções normativas aí consagradas. Dentre as mesmas destacamos o regime do acordo para pagamento da dívida exequenda em prestações, cujas disposições normativas sofreram uma profunda alteração.
