Laburpena: Stress and job satisfaction are factors that are currently affecting workers in different professional branches or work areas in the country. These factors, along with political and economic problems, generate psychophysiological discomfort for company employees, including collection companies. Therefore, it is important to identify the problems that are found with-in the call center to improve the results of the collaborators. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction in the managers of a collection company in the city of Guayaquil. The research was quantitative, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design and correlational scope. The instruments used were the Job Satisfaction Questionnaire (SL-SPC) and the Job Stress Scale (OIT-WHO). The results obtained showed that the levels of job stress in most managers are low and there is a high level in relation to job satisfaction, these results also show us that there are low-medium stress factors that must be taken consider. In conclusion, it is determined that there is an inversely proportional and insignificant correlation between the variables, the lower the level of stress, the higher the level of job sat-isfaction, allowing to verify that the dimensions of job stress have some relationship with those of job satisfaction, accepting the alternative hypothesis.
