Summary: Perception is one of the cognitive processes, capable of actively capturing, processing and giving meaning to the information that reaches our senses, while cognition organizes and gives meaning to activity, thought, reasoning, action, and different forms of relationship of people with the world and with the information obtained from it. Interactivity, on the other hand, is the communication between at least two actors that takes place through a circuit of separate and consistent coherent messages. The fundamental purpose of this research is to capture a compendium of aspects related to (sensory) perception, cognition and interactivity, mainly through the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in cognitive processes. The research was carried out under a bibliographic documentary type methodology, under the review modality. From the review it follows that the cognitive processes of people are certainly rational, however, their dependence on external stimuli that influence the senses and that allow the cognitive process cannot be denied. Elements such as image, sound, color, among others, lead the human being to the knowledge of his environment. In this sense, as explained by empiricism, ideas begin to form as a reflection of the reality that is perceived. The learning process is more effective in those cases where the senses are stimulated compared to plain text. The advancement of education must go hand in hand with technology, as it offers different tools that allow the senses to be stimulated individually or in combination for learning. Likewise, the new ICTs facilitate interactivity between the user and the information, going from a mere mechanical procedure in accessing information to developing a cognitive process in those who interact and learn
