With the purposeof providing a point of theoretical reflection on the incidence of thecultural component in the teaching and practice of law. The findings arederived from information collection instruments, such as surveys, interviews,focus groups, case reviews, among others. In order to review thespeeches present in the food issue, five categories were established: affectationof women, trivialization, invisibility, blaming the victim, naturalization,and three categories emerged: cycle of violence, revenge and judicialcongestion, against which present the main findings.Este artículo presenta el desarrollo de uno de los objetivos específicos de la investigación, dirigido a develar las representaciones culturales, prejuicios y estereotipos de género presentes en los estudiantes al tramitar los procesos ordinarios de alimentos adelantados en el Consultorio Jurídico de la Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Políticas, de la Universidad de Antioquia, sede Medellín, 2016. Con el propósito de brindar un punto de reflexión teórico sobre la incidencia del componente cultural en la enseñanza y praxis del derecho. Los hallazgos se derivan de los instrumentos de recolección de información, tales como, encuestas, entrevistas, grupos focales, revisión de casos, entre otros.
