The data allows us to find out that teachers seldom use ICT and instead there is prevalence for traditional teaching methods. Therefore, universities need to offer ICT training programs in order to encourage new didactic resources in teaching. These teachers agree upon that the paradigm shift in teaching must be a strategy in universities as to cope with the technological change.La enseñanza del derecho se ha caracterizado por ser impartida a través de clases de tipo magistral, donde el docente tiene el carácter expositivo y dominante de la actividad, siendo pocos los profesores que han adoptado herramientas tecnológicas para utilizarlas en la docencia. En ese sentido, se presentan los resultados de la aplicación de un cuestionario acerca del uso de las TIC en la enseñanza, recuperados de 25 profesores de derecho en la Universidad de Sonora.
