Summary: The teaching of Law has been characterized as being rhetorical, where the teacher only gives theory and dominates the class activity; few if any teachers have adopted technological tools to be used in class. Here for, are the results of questionnaires in the use of ICT given to 25 law professors at the University of Sonora. The data allows us to find out that teachers seldom use ICT and instead there is prevalence for traditional teaching methods. Therefore, universities need to offer ICT training programs in order to encourage new didactic resources in teaching. These teachers agree upon that the paradigm shift in teaching must be a strategy in universities as to cope with the technological change.
