It is posed fighting the abandonment of precedents in legal classrooms with teaching innovation and contributing to critical legal education through the implementation of some Active Learning Methods that naturally favour the teaching of precedents, such as the Cases Study and Problem-Based Learning.El artículo analiza la importancia de la jurisprudencia en la formación jurídica en México, la situación actual de la enseñanza del derecho, así como las necesidades que plantea de la mano con las ventajas que representa transitar de un modelo dogmático a un nuevo modelo de enseñanza.
