The method used has been the product of the research and compilation of analyses, of different archive sources, as well as a quantitative analysis using data obtained from a questionnaire which was sent to the professionals at the end of each workshop. The percentage of professionals who were "quite interested" or "very interested" in the session has increased, regardless of the gender of the professional. To establish the relation between the professional category or job category and the usefulness of the training session against the performance of the professional, we must emphasise that the most useful area of the course was management and services. We conclude that the evaluation that has been undertaken by the professionals in the awareness sessions regarding the mistreatment of women has been very favourable.En este estudio se analiza como han evaluado los talleres sobre "Sensibilización del maltrato contra las mujeres", aquellos profesionales del Distrito Sanitario Aljarafe que han participado como discentes, en los once talleres que se han desarrollados desde el veinticinco de octubre de 2010 hasta el nueve de marzo del 2012. El Método utilizado ha sido la realización de una búsqueda, compilación y análisis de distintas fuentes documentales así como un análisis cuantitativo, a través de los datos obtenidos a partir de un cuestionario que fue entregado a los profesionales a la finalización de cada taller. El porcentaje de profesionales que se han interesado por la sesión bastante o mucho es elevado, no siendo un determinante el sexo al respecto. Al establecer la relación entre la categoría y la utilidad de la sesión formativa para el desempeño profesional destacamos que los profesionales de las categorías sanitarias y del trabajo social han considerado de mayor utilidad el curso que aquellos de las categorías de gestión y servicios.
