The concept of family can not be tied only to �marriage, sex and reproduction.� The
modern family should have a much broader concept, why it needs to be recognized,
without prejudice and discrimination, affection and happiness is to be basic to its definition.
Given the legislative omission, the recent decision of the Supreme Court recognizes that the stable homosexual union, goes to meet this new paradigm. Using care to protect this
vulnerable group, our Constitutional Court break this �taboos� and respects the core
principles of our highest law, demonstrating that the freedom to free sexual orientation
is part of human dignity. |
