This paper is an approach to the experiences of access to legal abortion in the province of San Juan, a few months after the passing of Voluntary Terminationof Pregnancy Act (Ley IVE) in the country. This is a province characterized by a certain lack ofpolicies on sexual, reproductive and non-reproductive rights. In this context, to know what the conditions of access to legal abortions are, what strategies are implemented by professionals, activists and/or users and what obstacles or facilitators they encounter means a contribution to improving access to these rights. The work was based on a qualitative methodological strategy, based on individual and group interviews with three types of sources: feminist activists, health professionals and people who had an abortion. |
