Summary: Corruption is one of the main problems that society in general is facing and Ecuador does not escape from it. The general objective of this research was to analyze from a legal point of view the current regulations against corruption in Ecuador and their compliance. It is descriptive documentary with bibliographic design, the approach was quantitative, since legal documentary exploration techniques were used to substantiate corruption as crimes against public administration and violation of constitutional principles. From the perspective of synthetic analysis, it allowed the study of the information collected, the research instrument was the document analysis file or guide. It is concluded that although it is true in Ecuador, several legal norms have been proposed for the fight against corruption, they did not fulfill the objective that the State tried to achieve, that is, to end or at least reduce public corruption.
