Summary: Sexuality is an essential aspect in the life of the human being, present throughout life, which must be ap-proached from different aspects. Adolescence, being a stage of high vulnerability, deserves special attention on the perceptions that this age group handles in this regard. The research addresses the influence of the CERCA Project and its relationship with the perceptions of adolescent sexuality to establish the relationship that the intervention of the CERCA Project had on the perceptions of adolescent sexuality in the city of Cuenca. Under a prospective and cross-sectional quantitative approach. The "Survey of the Sexual and Reproductive Health Project Framed in the Community (CERCA)" was applied to a non-probabilistic sample of 1,607 stu-dents from three schools in the canton of Cuenca, during the period 2010 - 2014. Perceptions before and after were analyzed. of the intervention, which contributes to having information on the modification that occurs with the project's actions in sexual health issues. The findings reported that there were no significant differences in the indicators: age of first sexual intercourse, pressure from partners, initiative in sexual intercourse, feelings and perceptions about sexual intercourse, use of condoms and contraceptives. There was a statistical differ-ence in the provision of the condom. The intervention of the CERCA Project did not have a significant impact on certain conceptions, perceptions and opinions of the adolescent population.
