The data points to a generalized preference for in-person meetings and reduced attendance in national parliaments whereas the European Parliament heads towards digitalization and increased legislative activity throughout the pandemic. The virtual meetings and conferences in european and international parliamentary fora were centered on the COVID-19 theme in debates marked by urgent decisionmaking, while the parliamentary fora of the UN and NATO were key in the coordination of global parliamentary diplomacy during the sanitary crisis. The alignment of the Spanish parliamentary diplomacy to the European one and its relation of complementarity to that of governmental diplomacy is noted.Los ámbitos del Derecho parlamentario más afectados por la crisis sanitaria fueron la función de control y la función legislativa de las Cámaras, eclipsadas por el predominio del Ejecutivo. El trabajo parlamentario de las comisiones fue indispensable para el mantenimiento de la actividad parlamentaria debido a su carácter flexible. Los datos apuntan hacia una preferencia generalizada por la presencialidad y la asistencia reducida en Parlamentos nacionales, mientras que el Parlamento Europeo ha apostado por la digitalización e incrementado su actividad legislativa a lo largo de la pandemia. Las reuniones y conferencias virtuales de foros parlamentarios europeos e internacionales se centraron en la temática COVID-19 en debates marcados por la toma de decisiones urgente, siendo claves los foros interparlamentarios de la ONU y de la OTAN para la coordinación de la diplomacia parlamentaria global ante la crisis sanitaria.
