The results of this research show that not all victims request help for different personal,social, and institutional reasons. Among the different sources of support for victims who do startthe help-seeking process, the formal support of psychological counseling is significant, combiningin many cases with the informal support of friends. This review finds limitations in the analyzedliterature and points out recommendations for future research.En la violencia en parejas de minorías sexuales existen determinados factores de riesgo que dificultan a las víctimas solicitar ayuda o acceder a los servicios de apoyo. Este trabajo presenta una revisión sistemática sobre las diferentes fuentes de apoyo para las víctimas, en concreto sobre las barreras en el proceso de búsqueda de ayuda. De 198 estudios revisados, 41 fueron preseleccionados y de estos se seleccionaron 12 estudios que cumplían los criterios de inclusión metodológicos. Los resultados de esta investigación muestran que no todas las víctimas solicitan ayuda en atención a diferentes razones personales, sociales e institucionales. Entre las diferentes fuentes de apoyo a las que recurren las víctimas que sí inician en el proceso de búsqueda de ayuda, el más prevalente es el apoyo formal del asesoramiento psicológico combinándose en muchos casos con el apoyo informal de las amistades.
