Within this framework the unseizability of the SMI operates, in its amount, as well as the legal prescriptions of seizure of the part that exceeds this, being essential for an application adjusted to the law of the aforementioned rules, take as a reference the legal concept of SMI extractable from the labor normative regulation and its significance as a legal instrument that implements the constitutional retributive sufficiency. This paper places special emphasis on the debate that has arisen, in practice, around the inclusion or exclusion of extraordinary bonuses for the purpose of applying the afoaforementioned rules of non-attachability/attachability.El salario mínimo interprofesional es una institución clave dentro del ordenamiento jurídico laboral que impacta en otras ramas del Derecho, en particular, en las competentes para conocer de cualquier procedimiento judicial o administrativo de ejecución de bienes, presentes y futuros, de un trabajador frente a sus acreedores. En este marco opera la inembargabilidad del SMI, en su cuantía, así como las prescripciones legales de embargabilidad de la parte que exceda de éste, siendo imprescindible para una aplicación ajustada a derecho de las mencionadas reglas, tomar como referente el concepto legal de SMI extraible de la regulación normativa laboral y su significación como instrumento jurídico que implementa la suficiencia retributiva constitucional.
