Summary: This paper addresses the debate regarding the reform of employment legislation in the current context of economic recovery from the post-pandemic. The regulation of employment policy is an essential manifestation of the intervention of public authorities in the labor market. There is no doubt that this is clearly a social issue. The study analyzes the challenges present in public action on the labor market. The reform project of the current Employment Law is valued, as well as the possible orientation of the measures based on the conjunction between the legal impulse, the reception of the employment policy in the collective bargaining and the reorientation of the administrative practice in the management of employment policies.
