Nursing professionals maintain stress and an unhealthy lifestyle, due to full working days and night shifts where free time is used for rest, thus avoiding exercise, and causing sedentarism; it was also observed that many factors depend on the area of work where they were emergency and critical care since they are exposed to the suffering and death of patients. The present research aimed to determine the relationship between work stress and healthy lifestyle in nursing personnel. The article was a qualitative research, which is supported by scientific articles published between several years ago and nowadays 2022, taking into account research on work stress and healthy habits of nursing personnel, according to its scope it is a descriptive type of research. A study conducted by the American Institute of Stress indicated that the main factor of stress is 80% work-related and 40% of the stress is due to workplace turnover. The stress of nursing professionals affects more the night shift with 78.9%, followed by the day shift with 13.2%, and finally in fixed morning shifts with 7.9%. It is shown that the lack of physical activity, rest, recreation, nutrition, hygiene and the use of harmful substances cause the nursing staff to have stress and an unhealthy lifestyle.

It is shown that the lack of physical activity, rest, recreation, nutrition, hygiene and the use of harmful substances cause the nursing staff to have stress and an unhealthy lifestyle.Los profesionales de enfermería mantienen estrés y un estilo de vida no saludable, debido a jornadas de trabajos completos y horarios nocturnos donde el tiempo libre lo utilizan para el descanso evitando así el ejercicio, y provocando sedentarismo; también se observó que muchos factores dependen del área de trabajo donde fueron la emergencia y cuidado critico ya que están expuestos al sufrimiento y la muerte de los pacientes. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación del estrés laboral con el estilo de vida saludable en el personal de Enfermería. El artículo fue una investigación cualitativa, el cual estuvo respaldado por artículos científicos publicados entre varios años atrás hasta la actualidad 2022, tomando en cuenta investigaciones sobre estrés laboral y los hábitos saludables del personal de enfermería, de acuerdo con su alcance fue una investigación tipo descriptiva. Un estudio realizado por el instituto americano del estrés, indico que el factor principal del estrés está relacionado con el trabajo en un 80% y en un 40% afecta debido a la rotación del lugar de trabajo. El estrés de los profesionales de enfermería afecta más al turno nocturno con un 78.9%, seguido de turno diurno con un 13.2%, y finalmente en turnos de mañanas fijas el 7.9%.
