There are some biological markers that can guide the diagnostic confirmation of such effects on health, the objective is to study the levels of plasma cortisol in women victims of gender violence. Bibliographic resources will be applied to theoretically orient the hypothesis proposed through qualitative research of academic and scientific production of the variables. It is expected to demonstrate the positive and direct relationship between violence and its severity with the plasma level of cortisol in women.La violencia ejercida sobre cualquier ser humano puede exponerlos a padecer efectos negativos sobre su salud física y mental, en el caso de las mujeres, las consecuencias de padecer este flagelo no solo influyen en su persona, sino que, en caso de estar en estado de gravidez puede aumentar el riesgo de padecer condiciones patológicas propias de la madre y el niño. Existen algunos marcadores biológicos que pueden orientar la confirmación diagnóstica de tales efectos en la salud, el objetivo es estudiar los niveles de cortisol plasmático en mujeres víctimas de violencia de género. Se aplicarán los recursos bibliográficos para orientar teóricamente la hipótesis planteada a través de la investigación cualitativa de producción académica y científica de las variables.
