Some concepts and terms that are foreign to the Law are analyzed and can generate controversy both in the interpretation of the norm and in archaeological practice. Some procedures and precepts that are in contradiction with other provisions of the norm itself and that may violate the legal protection of archaeological assets are also analyzed.Este traballo aborda un conxunto de reflexións sobre o tratamento xurídico do patrimonio arqueolóxico na Lei 5/2016, do patrimonio cultural de Galicia. Analízanse algúns conceptos e termos que son alleos ao dereito e poden xerar controversia tanto na interpretación da norma como na praxe arqueolóxica. Tamén se examinan algúns procedementos e preceptos que entran en contradición con outras disposicións da propia norma e que poden vulnerar a tutela xurídica sobre os bens arqueolóxicos.El presente trabajo aborda un conjunto de reflexiones sobre el tratamiento jurídico del patrimonio arqueológico en la Ley 5/2016, del patrimonio cultural de Galicia. Se analizan algunos conceptos y términos que son ajenos al derecho y pueden generar controversia tanto en la interpretación de la norma como en la praxis arqueológica.
