In other words, what the article tries to show is that tragedy has an important moral meaning, a meaning that can be explored with the intention of enriching our understanding of the problems of human behavior that are of interest for ethical reflection. In this sense, the reading of the chosen tragedies is based on the consideration that, besides being understood in an essentially literary and artistic context, they can also be understood as sources of inquiry on human behavior, more specifically on moral behavior. It is about the possibility to enrich our current understanding of ethics and the way in which the problems that are of interest to it can also be conceived. That is why, in order to do this, not only a rereading of the tragedies was carried out, in the context of moral reflection, but also an attempt was madEl artículo consiste en una reflexión sobre la manera como puede entenderse, moralmente hablando, la tragedia griega. En otras palabras, lo que intenta mostrar el artículo es que la tragedia posee un importante significado moral, significado que puede explorarse con la intención de enriquecer nuestra manera de comprender los problemas del comportamiento humano que son de interés para la reflexión ética. En este sentido, la lectura de las tragedias elegidas se apoya en la consideración de que, además de entender estas en un contexto esencialmente literario y artístico, pueden entenderse también como fuentes de indagación sobre el comportamiento humano, más puntualmente sobre el actuar moral. Se trata de la posibilidad de enriquecer nuestra comprensión actual de la ética y de la forma como pueden también concebirse los problemas que son de interés de esta.
