Objective: To demonstrate how workplace harassment affects the job satisfaction of health professionals, to identify the prevalence of sexual harassment and to know the most frequent types of workplace sexual harassment and who exercises it. Material and methods: Inductive method to reach conclusions based on the results of previous studies, with a qualitative approach, of a basic type. By carrying out a bibliographical review with a descriptive and retrospective emphasis. Results:Workplace Harassment occurred in public health services, according to AESST (2020) and Palma Andrea (2018). The pre-dominant type of harassment was verbal abuse (28.1% to 60%), physical abuse (6.8% to 61.5%) and sexual harassment was found (<1%), more in women under 30 years with a negative impact on job performance according to Castro-Osman (2017). The nursing sector according to Gómez-zequeira & Blanco (2018) presented workplace harassment (59%), women (64%) graduates (77%) of surgical center and sterilization center, the harassers were the bosses. Workplace harassment in nurses is frequent according to Capacute Chambilla, K (2019), Pérez-Aldrete JA (2019) and Paravic-Klijn (2018). The female sex has a higher risk of Workplace Harassment and sexual harassment, according to Delgado K. & Espinoza A. (2019) and Velásquez and Díaz (2020). Internal violence and external violence towards nurses are positively related and both in turn were negatively related to job satisfaction according to Pérez-Fuentes (2020) and Palacios Carbajal (2020). Conclusions: There is evidence of a correlation between workplace harassment and work satisfaction. The frequencies of workplace bullying and job satisfaction are highly variable and depend on intrinsic and external organizational factors, and on the characteristics of patriarchal societies. The most frequent type of workplace harassment with a gender focus was psychological. The harasser was the man, using the modality of sexual blackmail.

Material y méto-dos: Método inductivo para llegar a conclusiones basadas en resultados de estudios previos, con enfoque cualitativo, de tipo básico. Mediante la realización de una revisión bibliográfica con énfasis descriptivo y retrospectivo. Resultados: El Acoso Laboral se presentó en servicios de Salud públicos, según AESST (2020) y Palma Andrea (2018). El tipo de acoso predominante fue el abuso verbal (28,1% al 60%), el abuso físico (6,8% a 61,5%) y se encontró acoso sexual (< 1%), más en mujeres menores de 30 años con impacto negativo en el desempeño laboral según Castro- Osman (2017). El sector de enfermería según Gómez-zequeira & Blanco (2018) presentó acoso laboral (59%), mujeres (64%) licenciados (77%) de centro quirúrgico y central de esterilización, los acosadores fueron los jefes. Acoso Laboral en enfermeras es frecuente según refieren Capacute Chambilla, K (2019), Pérez- Aldrete JA (2019) y Paravic-Klijn (2018). El sexo femenino, tiene mayor riesgo de Acoso Laboral y acoso sexual, segun Delgado K. & Espinoza A. (2019) y Velásquez y Díaz (2020). La violencia interna y la violencia externa hacia las enfermeras se relacionan positivamente y ambas a su vez se relacionaban negativamente con la satisfacción laboral según Pérez-Fuentes (2020) y Palacios Carbajal (2020). Conclusiones: Se evidencia correlación entre el acoso laboral y la satisfacción laboral. Las frecuencias de acoso laboral y de la satisfacción ocupacional son muy variables y dependen de factores organizacionales intrínsecos y externos, y de las características de las sociedades patriarcales. El tipo de acoso laboral con enfoque de género más frecuente fue el psicológico.
