The recent approval of Royal Decree Law 7/2021, responsible for transposing into Spanish law
the provisions of Directive 2018/957 amending Directive 96/71/EC on the posting of workers in
the framework of the provision of services, makes it advisable to carry out an analysis of its actual
practical impact; Especially bearing in mind that the general legal effectiveness that characterizes
our collective bargaining system and the fact that Spanish legislation already complied in essence
with the content of the European standard from which it derives suggests that its impact will not
be of the same magnitude as those that other Member States have had to implement |
