Summary: COVID-19 has unexpectedly changed medical care in basic and specialized outpatient services; and for hospitalized patients with other pathologies, requiring the adaptation and modification of the dynamics of operation, of the effectors of the public and private healthcare system. The methodology used for this research work is focused on a methodology oriented towards the need to investigate a situation precisely and coherently. Framed within a documentary bibliographic review, since we are going to deal with issues raised at a theoretical level such as Factors associated with the quality of patient care during the Sars-Cov-2 / Covid -19 pandemic. The technique for data collection is made up of printed, audiovisual and electronic materials, the latter such as Google Scholar, PubMed, among others. The information obtained here will be reviewed for further analysis. The 5 cases here evaluated and shown in terms of the perception of the quality of the patients in different types of health centers and in different areas of Ecuador, in general lines it is perceived from medium to good, in one of the cases the empathy opinion of the medical and nursing staff, which is evaluated as high, which means that the health staff understands what the patient is going through and in some cases can put themselves in their place. The quality of care should not only be seen from the point of view of health care as such, but from a set of elements that also involve administrative personnel, workers, supplies, among others. In this regard, positive values are evidenced in some of these aspects, both for outpatient care or hospitalized in internal areas of health centers.
