The results obtained show that the contribution of this employment exchange is minimal, since contracts made through the platform constitute only 0.6% of total formal employment in Ecuador. Some important causes are the small number of companies registered in the network, as well as the non-compliance with the characteristics of the vacancies such as experience and area of training.El presente trabajo responde a una investigación de carácter descriptivo y correlacional, con enfoque cuantitativo, mismo que está basado en las características de la oferta y demanda laboral que registra la Red Socio Empleo (RSE) y datos del Instituto de Estadística y Censos (INEC), con el propósito de contestar la siguiente interrogante ¿la RSE ha logrado reducir la informalidad laboral en el año 2016?
