Summary: The European Landscape Convention drafted by the Council of Europe, approved in Florence on October 20, 2000, was a milestone in the introduction of landscape protection into legal systems. The protection of the environment had been subject to regulation, to a greater or lesser extent, but not the landscape, with equal importance and which should be subject to regulation, after the ratification by Spain of the CEP on November 26, 2007. After the Historical and comparative analysis of the protection of the environment, as well as the landscape, it is necessary to analyze the state and regional legislation in this regard to know how they have legislated, in particular, the autonomous communities in this regard, in addition to knowing how it is predicted that the future will be landscape law of Castilla-La Mancha, essential for sustainable development.
