Proporcionalmente, tem havido uma luta constante tanto doutrinal quanto jurisprudencial para determinar seu conceito e escopo, em termos de sua relação com os movimentos independentistas ao redor do mundo, o que implicaria propor um método para manter o equilíbrio entre a aplicação do direito e a ideia de que sua aplicação implica imediatamente a desintegração do Estado.El presente artículo de investigación intenta brindar una guía sobre un Derecho Humano que no es muy conocido pero que actualmente posee mucha importancia y una posición relevante como lo es el Derecho a la Libre determinación de los pueblos.
