The general objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of the educational program for oral health care in elementary school children of the “Aurora Estrada” School of the Tres Postes Campus during the period 2018-2019. The methodology used for this purpose encompasses the research corresponds to the quantitative approach. The results were based on the oral health of Ecuador and the results of the survey of school children. In conclusion, the knowledge and hygiene index are high because schoolchildren know the use of dental cleaning articles and the frequency with which they must do their oral care, as well as having knowledge to perceive that a lack of These can cause psychosocial problems in their environment, thus demonstrating the effectiveness of the educational program.Uno de los aspectos más importantes en el desarrollo de los seres humanos es el cuidado en la salud y bienestar desde la infancia. La salud bucal en este período es importante, por lo que las visitas al odontólogo o la aplicación de mecanismos de información pueden permitir tener una buena higiene bucal. El objetivo general de esta investigación es evaluar la efectividad del programa educativo para el cuidado de la salud bucal en los niños de educación de primaria de la Escuela “Aurora Estrada” del Recinto Tres Postes durante el periodo 2018-2019. La metodología empleada para tal fin abarca la investigación corresponde al enfoque cuantitativo. Los resultados se basaron en la salud bucal del Ecuador y los resultados de la encuesta realizada a los niños de la escuela.
