This paper analyzes the guarantee systems in Spain,
Argentina and Colombia, focusing on how they have
been influenced by Corporate standards and the
phenomenon of Corporate Governance, in particular.
For the development of the above-mentioned task,
the paper begins by analyzing the situation of the
guarantee systems at a regional level. It then explores
in detail the contribution of each of the systems under
analysis.
Evidenced that the guarantee systems of the three
countries analyzed present a series of common
features compatible with the autonomy of their
respective local realities, highlighting the Argentine
guarantee system, the impact of the Colombian
National Guarantee Fund, and the influence of the
Spanish guarantee system. Finally, this paper also
demonstrates the growing importance of Corporate
Governance for Ibero-American guarantee systems. |
