Such a constant state of alert generates risks for the health of workers: Firstly, due to the deterioration of their breaks -which are qualitatively of poorer quality-; secondly, given the concurrence of the technological element, as the constant use of ICTs leads to specific risks. Following a diagnosis of the impact of connectivity on workers’ health, the study undertakes a critical analysis of internal protection toolsLas TICs facilitan la conectividad permanente del trabajador: ya fuera de las instalaciones de la empresa y en horario no laboral, permanece, vía telemática, vinculado al empresario y atento a su quehacer profesional. Tal estado de alerta constante genera riesgos para la salud de los trabajadores: en primer término, por el deterioro de sus descansos -cualitativamente de peor calidad-; en segundo lugar, habida cuenta la concurrencia del elemento tecnológico, al derivar el recurso constante a las TICs en riesgos específicos.
