The approval in 2013 of Law 19/2013, of December 9, on transparency, access to public information and good governance, imposed active publicity obligations; In order to guarantee greater transparency in public activity, it recognized the right of access to public information and established good governance duties. Said Law also included political parties in its subjective scope of application. However, this inclusion occurs in conditions of inequality with respect to other obligated subjects of the Law. Along these lines, we will try to analyze whether to guarantee transparency in political parties is sufficient with this regulatory instrument, or whether, for on the contrary, there is still a long way to go to achieve true transparency in them.La desconfianza de los ciudadanos en los poderes públicos y principales instituciones ha sido una constante en nuestro país. La aprobación en el año 2013 de la Ley 19/2013, de 9 de diciembre, de transparencia, acceso a la información pública y buen gobierno, impuso distintas obligaciones de publicidad activa; en aras de garantizar una mayor transparencia en la actividad pública, reconoció el derecho de acceso a la información pública y estableció deberes de buen gobierno. Dicha Ley incluyó además en su ámbito subjetivo de aplicación a los partidos políticos. Sin embargo, esta inclusión se produce en condiciones de desigualdad con respecto a otros sujetos obligados de la Ley.
