This topic, in general, has been approached from the field of political science or the theory of international relations, fundamentally emphasizing political factors, and therefore results from the usefulness of its treatment in the field of law to provide a full understanding of reality through the framework of international standards that shape and support it. Finally, we will refer to the question of safeguards in the cases of Argentina and Brazil, the specific issues that deserve to be highlighted as an object of study.el objetivo del presente trabajo es proporcionar al lector una aproximación sobre la temática de las salvaguardias nucleares, desde un enfoque jurídico, para indagar sobre su importancia, naturaleza jurídica, fundamentos de su obligatoriedad y categorías en el derecho internacional. Esta temática, por lo general, ha sido abordada desde el ámbito de las ciencias políticas o de la teoría de las relaciones internacionales, haciendo fundamentalmente hincapié en los factores políticos, por lo cual resulta de utilidad su tratamiento en el ámbito del derecho para proporcionar una compresión más completa de la realidad a través del entramado de normas internacionales que la conforman y sustentan.
