The University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) executes annually on average
more than 100 computer projects. With the execution of these, the legal
activity acquires a vital importance, as it serves as support to the processes
of negotiation, execution and closure of the same. The development of the
aforementioned projects requires an adequate legal management to comply
with the legal regime established in the country. In this article, the existing
legal doctrine and the technical postulates about the treatment of legal
aspects in relation to software are reviewed; in the framework of the management of legal aspects in software development projects in the area of
