The narrative is the key of this dynamic, since the parties involved will tell the judge what happened, who in response will replace them and, as State representative, will determine how to solve the lawsuit and judge the consequences for the defendant in question. The purpose of this article was to think the conception of truth present in such hearings, at which time we will support the studies of Michel Foucault (2001), as well as the intrasmissibility experience through contemporary narrative using Walter Benjamin’s thoughts (1996). Furthermore, we will work with the cinema as a tool to see the theoretical construction through the scenes of the movies Justice and JudgmenAs Audiências Judiciais, denominadas Instrução e Julgamento, são a maneira utilizada pela Justiça Penal para atualizar – trazer para o presente – o fato ocorrido que supostamente tenha infringido uma lei. A narrativa é a peça-chave dessa dinâmica, uma vez que as partes envolvidas vão narrar o ocorrido para o juiz, o qual as substituirá e como representante do Estado determinará a forma de resolver a demanda judicial e as consequências da sentença para o réu em questão. A proposta no presente artigo é a de pensar a concepção de verdade presente em tais audiências, momento em que nos apoiaremos nos estudos de Michel Foucault (2001), assim como a intrasmissibilidade da experiência por meio da narrativa no contemporâneo, utilizando os pensamentos de Walter Benjamin (1996).
