The development of this presentation reflects on the city-citizen relationship of urban processes in the city of Monteria, understanding this as a dynamic process, from which it is deduced that it is susceptible of transformations not only in the order of the physical, but also of the social, cultural, economic and political. This issue, in a general way, shapes new forms of appropriation of the political and ethical of the Monteria’s citizen that involve, on the one hand a new urban cartography of the democracy in the city; but also a vision of encounter rather than fragmentation in the forms of sociability proposed by the citizen and the pretensions conceived by the normativity that regulates the use of urban space in Monteria. These approaches are part of the results presented by the different researches developed by the research group Imaginaries and Communication Society of the Universidad de Cordoba on Monteria around the city-citizen relationship from the urban processes. |
