El defensor de familia en el proceso de adopción en Colombia
Summary: The interest of this article is to carry out through a bibliographic study inthe constitutional, legal, jurisprudential and doctrinal framework the actionof the Family Ombudsman as responsible for the adoption process inColombia. In this study it was found that the Political Constitution, Laws1098 of 2006 and 1878 of 2018, and other normative national and internationaldocuments of obligatory compliance in the national territory regulatethe relative to this process. It was possible to highlight some legal gapsand obstacles of institutional origin, which make it difficult for the FamilyOmbudsman to exercise his or her role in the adoption process, due to thefact that they force their discretion and delay the term in their administrativeactions.
