Therefore, the practices of citizen participation can be understood as a way of doing and being in the public space, where the actions organized by the citizens have a greater interference that goes from transferring the individual spaces to the collective, where they think not only for their own good, but also for a communal good. This research work aims to identify, recognize and understand the way in which young people are acting in the public sphere to socially influence the needs of their localitySer ciudadano implica ser parte de las circunstancias del entorno social, es ser alguien que tiene la oportunidad de ejercer su derecho a tomar decisiones responsables desde y para su hogar, y de forma circunstancial para su comarca, caracterizándose, a su vez, como un derecho en los regí menes democráticos, espacios en donde el voto ha sido el primero de los caminos a seguir para construir ciudades más justas; después, y gracias a éste, se crea la forma en que los ciudadanos inciden en los asuntos públicos en nuestro país. Por ello, las prácticas de participación ciudadana pueden ser entendidas como una forma de hacer y estar en el espacio público, donde las acciones organizadas por los ciudadanos tienen una injerencia mayor, que va de traspasar los espacios individuales a lo colectivo, donde se piensa no únicamente por el bien propio, sino también por un bien comunal.
