The final intention of the analysis will be to rescue the ideology of what was implemented and to understand the historical process of what has been done and how the proposal was developed. The reflection is divided into three stages: the implementation phase of the work proposal, from 1985 to 1993; the consolidation phase, from 1994 to 1999, and the expansion phase, from 2000 to 2015.Esta reflexão apresenta o processo histórico de uma proposta metodológica inovadora para a época e implantada na Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, particularmente na área das Ciências Humanas, a partir de 1985, até a aposentadoria do docente, em 2015; ou seja, por trinta anos e três meses, na docência universitária numa instituição federal de ensino superior, no Brasil. A intenção final da análise será resgatar o ideário do que foi implantado e busca compreender o processo histórico do que foi feito e de como se desenrolou a proposta ambiciosa para a época.1 Sistematizando o período histórico analisado, distri bui-se a reflexão em três etapas: a fase de implantação da proposta de trabalho, de 1985 a 1993; a fase de consolidação, de 1994 a 1999; e a fase de expansão, de 2000 a 2015.  1 Aqui, deve-se sinalizar que esta versão é uma leitura oficial do processo histórico oriunda do docente, claro.Esta reflexión presenta el proceso histórico de una propuesta metodológica innovadora para la época e implantada en la Universidad Federal de Uberlândia, particularmente en el área de las Ciencias Humanas, desde el año 1985, hasta la jubilación del docente en 2015; es decir, por treinta años y tres meses.
