The intertwining of struggle for recognition and living lawfully theories establishes the grounds for the theoretical framework of this research. As a result, it is viable to conclude that the copyright system isn’t fit to cybernetic possibilities. Therefore, as far as the static architecture of copyright system is concerned, legal and not legal alternatives have emerged, such as, creative commons movement, open access initiative and Sci-Hub.Como o copyright se aplica para conteúdos científicos e educacionais? A presente pesquisa visa analisar a aplicação do regime de propriedade intelectual no contexto da internet e de outras tecnologias. A abordagem metodológica consiste em uma análise qualitativa, por meio do método de traços de significação. O plano teórico é composto pelas teorias de luta pelo reconhecimento e de viver plenamente a lei. O principal resultado é o de que o sistema de copyright não está adaptado às possibilidades cibernéticas.
