A historical perspective shows what has happened in each country of the region and consequently the weariness of leftist governments that in many circumstances have generated changes of command away from democracy as well as the changes of the political trends that have been happening by means of the democratic wayEl artículo trata de reflejar el inicio y fin de un ciclo político en América del Sur. Es innegable que los gobiernos de centro izquierda generaron políticas, tanto internas como en la región, que modificaron las estructuras vigentes; su llegada trajo una bonanza económica acompañada de una serie de cambios dentro de la organización de la democracia, a través de transformaciones en sus normas y leyes.
