Summary: The notion of "banking education" as graphic as today, alerts us to the consequences of the transmission of content that seeks, as a sole objective, to fill empty glasses knowledge (Freire 2008). Since its emergence in the educational and political scene, popular education has promoted a profound and radical pedagogical debate, as a way of understanding, transforming, the way in which we are educated. For the popular education, nobody educates to anybody, the men educate each other, in communion and with the mediation of the world. So the construction of a shared vision of the world is the first step in the process of transformation that is only achieved in concrete practice.
