Our paper is completed with an approximation to the second chance regime envisaged in the United States, as it is considered the most favorable for the insolvency si tuation of the natural personal debtor.El objetivo de nuestro trabajo consiste en analizar las novedades que presenta el régimen de segunda oportunidad tras la reforma llevada a cabo por la Ley 25/2015, de 28 de julio, de mecanismo de segund a oportunidad, reducción de la carga financiera y otras medidas de orden social, p ara comprobar si, realmente, se han solventado las numerosas deficiencias de que adolec ía la anterior regulación prevista en la Ley 14/2013, de 27 de septiembre, de apoyo a los emprendedores y su internacionalización.
