For this purpose the article has been divided into two parts. The first is the conceptual framework that allows the formulation of the proposed model of judicial investigation applied and the second part of the article begins with an approximation of the type of scientific knowledge that is the right, for, from there, and taking positions by one of these epistemological approaches, make the paradigm that is proposed to carry out a judicial inquiry.El presente artículo se propone caracterizar un modelo para adelantar investigaciones judiciales, cuyo objeto sea la identificación de problemas en la prestación del servicio de administración de justicia y cuya finalidad se encamine a proponer soluciones a los actores que tienen la atribución de proponer reformas normativas y de conseguir y asignar los recursos para su implementación.
