This is done through the analysis of the perceptions and opinions of inhabitants of 10 witness areas, through variables and categories that express the lack of legitimacy of urban interventions and of public and private actors that produce the living space in the city and the valuation that the inhabitant makes about the channels of citizen participationEl objetivo del trabajo es explorar las condiciones para la participación ciudadana en los procesos de planeación urbana y en las decisiones sobre las intervenciones urbanas, a partir de la identificación de algunos elementos que ponen en desequilibrio la planeación indicativa con la planeación participativa en materia de ordenación del territorio, y que desencadenan en resistencias a las políticas urbanas que están transformando la Ciudad de México, particularmente sus áreas centrales.
