Summary: The ratification of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) by Spain requires reevaluating the minimum content of collective agreements in our national Law. It is appropriate to provide mechanisms in the collective bargaining to protect the fundamental rights of the disabled people, implementing similar measures to France, to remove discrimination as far as access to and remaining in the labour market. The present paper argues the need to reinforce the guarantee framework to persons with disabilities at work. In this regard, I develop a proposal to amend the Law and inserting these issues in the minimum content of collective agreements.
