In conclusion, we found that the exchange rises as a valuable instrument, within collaborative economy standards, for reaching the social, environmental and economic sustainability, driving the development of an equal, fair and solidarity societyEl presente artículo mira hacia el análisis de la evolución de la permuta, o trueque, en el marco del Derecho brasileño, así como su relación con el instituto de la compraventa, según el contexto del “consumo colaborativo”, que despliega directamente en la cuestión de la sostenibilidad. Con eso asentado, partimos del presupuesto de las actuales patologías de consumo en la sociedad moderna, verificando sus diferentes implicaciones en las cuestiones sociales, ambientales y económicas, hasta hallar el zénit en el análisis de las posibles alternativas bajo el presupuesto de solidaridad.
