The democratization of the process involves the idealization of a sustainable jurisdiction. Thus emerges the construction of a proposed rebuilding of the jurisdiction which includes the multiple dimensions of sustainability.O presente ensaio apresenta os sintomas de uma crise do sistema de justiça sinalizado caminhos possíveis para a superação do paradigma dominante, ora esgotado. A resposta para os desdobramentos desta crise do sistema de justiça terá como balizador a democratização do processo, a defesa da concretização dos direitos fundamentais e a cidadania democrática e participativa. A democratização do processo passa pela idealização de uma jurisdição sustentável.
