From this perspective the article proposes on one hand relate the underlying humanist ideology on the discourse of Human Rights with Eurocentrism. On the other hand take the thread of decolonialism in a critical historiography line exposing possibilities that were or have been concealed hidden and destroyed by traditional rationality in construction of the discourse of human rights ruled by historicist logic of progress. This implies to retake and problematize colonial resistance and examine how far out hidden, repressed and disguised in this discourse.A perspectiva descolonial busca o pluralismo na produção do saber, o que implica a ruptura com a construção eurocêntrica do conhecimento. Nesse sentido, posiciona-se criticamente em relação à narrativa tradicional do historicismo, da qual resultou o ideal civilizatório professado na leitura mais ortodoxa dos Direitos Humanos. Sob esta perspectiva, este ensaio propõe-se a, de um lado, relacionar a ideologia humanista subjacente ao discurso dos Direitos Humanos com o eurocentrismo. De outro, adotar o fio condutor do descolonialismo e, na linha de uma historiografia crítica, expor possibilidades que foram ou têm sido dissimuladas, ocultadas e destruídas pela racionalidade tradicional na construção do discurso dos Direitos Humanos pautado pela lógica historicista do progresso.
