Security still is the main issue within any goberment's agenda. Every day we are bombarded by the media at all levels (radio, TV, newspapers and Internet) about issues related to this theme. In additon, many TV shows bring 'experts' to their programmes who, unfortunately, attempt to provide a frivolous recipe for solutions .
The fact is that we talk about insecurity considering some isolated and colorfully cases, no matter how horrible or serious they are. Yet we do not talk about the actual numbers of criminality we endure as part of this community. It seems to be that 'insecurity' and 'criminality" go hand in hand as synonyms. Well, they are not Late modernists tend lo disagree wilh postmodernist. They argue that the polilical, ideological and social
support is alike. However, il is also argued that this consideration does not seem very convincing. |
