In this paper the author proposes to read the recently approved Bolivian Constitution since
the point of view of one of its main features regarding the type of State it creates: the formulation
of the Plurinational Communitarian State. To this end the author synthesizes the content of the
discourse of the indigenous cultural difference and points its role as one of the ideological main
sources under grounding the constitutional text. Besides, using such discourse as an interpretation key,
the author studies its influence in the main parts of the Constitution and points some consequences
